This is a neck cover with a full hood sewn inside the rim. Tuck the hood away and it is a plain neck cover. Deploy it and you have a full balaclava. One garment, both jobs, no compromise either way.

Contoured Nose Taper A straight cut face covering bunches at the bridge of the nose and sits right at the edge of your vision. We identified that as a problem with the standard neck gaiter and shaped a taper into the pattern so the fabric follows the line of your face instead.
