SHIPPING

We promise you dispatch, not a delivery date. Here's exactly what that means, and exactly what you'll pay in tax and duty.

United States	Calculated at checkout	Shipped DDP — duties and any import taxes collected at checkout. No bill at your door.
Rest of world	Calculated at checkout	No NZ GST charged. Your own import duties, GST and port charges are your responsibility.

01  /  DISPATCH

We aim to get every order out same day. There's an early-morning cutoff on that — we need time to pick, pack and get your order onto the courier before it goes. Orders placed after the cutoff, on weekends, or on public holidays are dispatched the next business day.

Realistically, plan on next business day dispatch. You'll get a tracking number by email once your parcel is picked up, and you can follow it on our Track My Order page.

02  /  WHO CARRIES IT

We book through NZ Post, who route parcels through whichever carrier suits the destination best — that includes DHL, FedEx, UPS, Royal Mail and Australia Post. So the carrier that knocks on your door may not be the one on your original label. Your tracking number follows the parcel the whole way regardless.

03  /  DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES

We aim for the timeframes quoted at checkout, and most parcels land inside them. But we'll be straight with you: once a parcel leaves our hands it's entirely with the carriers. We can't speed it up, reroute it, or make a scan appear. We choose good carriers and we trust them to do their job, but we're at the mercy of their mistakes the same as you are.

If your parcel looks stuck, hasn't scanned in a while, or hasn't arrived — tell us. We'll open a trace with the carrier and chase it. What we ask in return is a bit of patience while that runs, because carrier investigations take the time they take and shouting at either of us doesn't move a parcel any faster.

04  /  DUTIES AND TAXES IN DETAIL

• New Zealand orders. GST is included in the price you see. Nothing further to pay on delivery.
• United States orders. We ship DDP (Delivered Duties Paid), which means we collect the duty and any applicable import taxes at checkout and settle them for you. Your parcel clears customs without you being chased for anything.
• All other international orders. No NZ GST is charged. Any import duty, GST, VAT, port or handling charges levied by your own country are your responsibility and are payable by you, not us. Thresholds vary a lot between countries — worth checking yours before you order if you're not sure.
