The SORD M9 Bayonet Adapter MOLLE converts the Australian issue M9 Ontario fighting knife from its issue scabbard mount into a fully MOLLE-compatible carry system. One Allen key adjustment and your issued knife is on your rig, where it needs to be.
✕ The Issue Scabbard Wasn't Built For Your Rig
The M9 ships with a scabbard cut for belt and leg carry — not for a modern MOLLE plate carrier. So the knife ends up off-rig, slow to reach, or clipped on with a bodge that works loose. This adapter puts the issued knife on the rig cleanly, with one Allen key and no permanent modification to the scabbard.
◈ Backwards Compatible
The BAM retains Fastex compatibility with the previous-version belt attachment system — if you run the older carry method in some configurations, it still works. No either-or compromise.
