An IR patch serves its purpose, but by nature it's laser-cut — and those cut edges can, under hard use, be prone to separation or tearing. Embroidery on Cordura has no cut edges to fail, so it takes a lot more punishment before showing wear — the everyday-wear kiwi, in a subtle field palette.
