Built from laser-cut 500D MULTICAM® Cordura with Covert IR Solas , these rank slides are more durable than standard fabric equivalents — and non reflective in the visible spectrum.
◈ Gen 3 SOLAS IR Retro-Reflective Material
These slides use mil-spec SOLAS IR retro-reflective material — not the economy IR found on cheaper alternatives. Economy IR reflects both visible and infrared light, making it reflective under normal lighting. Gen 3 covert IR reflects only in the infrared spectrum. Under normal lighting it remains visually subdued. When illuminated by the IR emitter of a night-vision device, the material retro-reflects infrared light directly back to the source — clearly visible through NVDs for IFF identification, invisible to the naked eye.
