Evolving from the popular Straight Mat, the Insulated variant holds the same profile while reflecting more heat back to the user and extending the length to better maintain core temperature across austere environments. Engineered to fit directly within the sleeping-gear compartment of the SCE issued pack — no compromises on compatibility, no dead space.
✕ The Ground Steals More Heat Than The Air
A good sleeping bag does nothing against conduction — the cold deck pulls core heat straight out of you through crushed insulation underneath. You wake cold, and cold means slow. A 100gsm Primaloft panel with a thermal-reflective liner puts a barrier between your core and the ground, and the extended length keeps your whole trunk on the mat.

20D thermal-reflective Nylon lining sits beneath a single layer of 100gsm Primaloft® Cross Core Ultra insulation. Exterior shell: coyote 500D for durability and reduced visible signature when carried externally. Inner face: 210D Ripstop to keep weight down without sacrificing integrity.
