✕ Cold Legs, And Kit You Can't Get On
Most insulated pants mean stripping boots off in the cold to get them on — so they stay in the pack — and their lower legs wet out first in snow and slush. Twin full-length outer zips pull these on over boots in seconds, and a 3-layer 20k/20k waterproof lower leg holds the line where wet gets in first.
Primaloft® Gold Cross Core Ultra + NASA Aerogel
Primary insulation is 100gsm Primaloft® Gold Cross Core Ultra enhanced with NASA-developed Aerogel — composed of more than 95% air and among the lightest, most thermally efficient insulators ever engineered. A 20D windproof Ciré nylon lining with internal IR reflection forms a secondary windproof barrier, trapping radiated body heat and cutting thermal loss.
